  • Series: Rediscovering our mission

Life Group: 7/3-7/9

How have the sermons/truths from this series so far impacted you?

From what we have discussed so far, how would you define our “mission,” as it relates to the first 2 chapters of Acts? What has stuck out to you?

Truth: People need what I have

Do you believe you have something to offer the world from a spiritual standpoint? What is it? What about your life is powerful?

Do you feel like your life, story, and day to day relationship with God is the kind that someone who is spiritually hungry would want to feed on?

Read Acts 3:1-10

Discuss the exact same story and all it’s events, imagining it was in our culture today? What’s different? What would be the same?

How do Peter and John’s interaction with the beggar display our core values?

What were the intentional things done here by Peter and John that put them in a position to ‘Bear witness to,” or put on display the power of God?

What is it that makes there lives so dang powerful?

(Try to help people see that they are living tapped into the power of the Holy Spirit. All they are giving away is what has been given to them. They are totally dependent on the Spirit, and believe in His power to change them)

What would it take for you to become more aware of that power to the point that you lived this kind of bold, empowered life?

How do you need to change your life, for the sake of greater gospel impact?
