Life-Giving Truth: God’s Word can Change Me
2 Timothy 3:16-17
16All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
How many of you believe that scripture is this powerful and Life Changing?
How many of you experience that kind of power when you open the Bible and read it?
How many of you feel a sense that your interaction with Scripture falls short of this kind of powerful life-changing stuff?
Read Deuteronomy 11:18
Where does this passage say God’s word needs to be “Impressed?”
How does it say that happens?
Do you feel like you are approaching God’s word this way? So that it can be powerful in your life?
What practical things can you do to “impress,” these words on your heart?
