How did last weeks truth on Immersion, “People are worth changing for,” impact you practically this past week? Do you have any examples of opportunities to stop and or change your plans to show someone value? Share with the group.

This week’s truth: It’s all because He’s alive

What has been your relationship to Easter weekend and it’s message historically? How does it make you feel, what is your approach?

Read 1 Corinthians 15:3-7

What is this passage saying are the most important things to, “believe?”

Do you believe at the heart level that Jesus is alive or is it just something you have chosen to accept and not question as part of your, “Religion.”

Read 1 Corinthians 15:17-19

What is this passage saying?

Why is our faith, and practice at FLC meaningless, futile or for nothing if Jesus did not in fact raise from the dead?

The power of this truth begins with accepting the reality of Christ’s resurrection. Although it is a difficult thing to come to terms with in our humanness, our faith hinges upon our faith in it. In order to experience the power of it, we have to choose to surrender to it.

Now split of these verses, and read them aloud one at a time and discuss the following questions...

Col. 2:13; Romans 8:1; 2 Thess. 2:15-17; Col. 1:21-23; 2 Cor. 5:17; Acts 4:12; 2 TIm 1:7; Romans 8:9-11

What is this passage promising comes along with life in Christ?

What practical implication does that have on your life?

In what ways are you experiencing it or not?

Do as many as you have time for...
